Welcome to Alix Blankson’s portfolio.

Undergraduate Architect// Aspiring graphic designer// Photographer

Skilled in Mac based adobe softwares: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, various CAD softwares, most microsoft programmes and some HTML, CMS and WordPress experience.

Keen interest in digital/computer based design. Feel free to request further information and/or my CV.

ACHIEVEMENTS :

>     Currently studying Architecture part 1 RIBA BArch at The University of Nottingham to a 2.1 level.

>     A previous image editor and current design editor for IMPACT magazine- The University  of Nottingham’s official student run magazine. Two years editorial experience working in a tightly woven, efficient team, with responsibility of shoots and images in the first year and entire visual organisation of the magazine throughout 6 issues in the second.

>     Internship at Den Creative Ltd. gaining graphic design, branding, blogging and social network managing, basic web and coding, written communication and analysis experience.

>     Part of Project Limpopo, a social charity architecture project in rural South Africa. Selected to design, fundraise and build a school for a undeveloped area in a team of second and fifth year architects, completing the project over a 9 week period.
